How to Choose the Right Size-Run Set for Your Wholesale Order
Buying in bulk only pays off when the sizes you receive actually match what your customers ask for. That's the whole idea behind a size-run set — and picking the right one is the single biggest lever you have over sell-through.
What is a size-run set?
Instead of ordering one size at a time, a set bundles one piece each across a size range — for example, our "38-44" set covers 38, 40, 42 and 44 in a single unit. You order sets, not individual sizes, and every piece inside a set is the same style and colour.
Matching sets to your customer base
- Look at your last three months of walk-in requests — the sizes you're asked for most should decide which sets you reorder first.
- Smaller boutiques usually do well with a tighter range like "38-42"; larger stores or those serving a wider customer base benefit from "38-46".
- Keep at least one set of your best-selling colour in stock at all times — running out mid-season costs more in lost sales than the set itself.
Ordering across multiple sets
You're not limited to one set per style. Mix and match — add a "38-44" set in one colourway and a "40-46" set in another to the same cart, and check out together. Every set you add is tracked separately, so your invoice and packing list always show exactly what's inside.
When in doubt, start with two sets of a style you already know sells, then reorder based on which sizes move first. That's the fastest way to learn your customers' real size curve without overcommitting on stock.
